Supporting the North York Moors
Whether you're an individual, a business or a society, your support as a Friend of the Moors helps ensure that this unique landscape evolves with time but retains its special beauty.
Many of our members live and work in and around the National Park, while others live elsewhere in Britain or Europe, or in North America - we’re connected right across the world!
As a member you'll receive our high-quality quarterly magazine ‘Voice of the Moors’, with articles on wildlife, history, culture and campaigns, and occasional e-newsletters with news of events and campaigns.
As a member, you can also share in:
• Opportunities to influence policy in the North York Moors and keep it special
• Enjoyable and informative walks and events
• Participation in projects benefiting the North York Moors
• Links with kindred national and local organisations
• Liaison with the North York Moors National Park Authority
Membership application / renewal
Join NYMA or renew your membership in one of these ways:
Decide which category of membership you would like, choosing between Annual (£22 Individual, £28 Joint), Annual Digital (£15 Individual, £20 Joint), 10-year (£180 Individual, £220 Joint), or Annual Business/Organisation (£40). The Annual Digital option is an excellent choice if you live overseas, as you'll receive a pdf of the magazine each time it's published.
Then, please go to our Membership page - this is run by MemberMojo, a tried-and-trusted system where you can apply for and renew your subscription, edit your details, and access member materials and communications. This is our preferred method as it saves us money, so we'll have more to put towards our work.
If that doesn't work for you, you can download an application form, print it out, fill it in and post it to the address on the form. Please pay by bank transfer if possible, as we incur charges on cheques.
Gift Membership application
NYMA membership makes an excellent gift for family members and friends. If you would like to do this, please contact the Membership Secretary on membership@nyma.org.uk to complete the arrangements.
